Undergraduate Journal of Politics

Araneum: Richmond Journal of American and Global Affairs is the University of Richmond’s Undergraduate Journal of Politics. Students enrolled in Political Science, Africana Studies, American Studies, Global Studies, and Politics Philosophy Economics and Law (PPEL) courses can submit their work for consideration by the Editorial Board and Peer Reviewers, a process managed by students.

The journal has published two issues, and its third issue will be published in Spring 2025. Beginning in the Fall 2025, the journal plans to accept submissions from other universities in the state, and the nation in Spring 2026.

Students interested in submitting their work for the journal should fill out the form on the Araneum website, or email araneum@richmond.edu.

University of Richmond students interested in working on the journal as a Peer Reviewer or on the Editorial Board should contact araneum@richmond.edu, as well as Dr. Dana El Kurd and Dr. Dan Chen.
