Receiving Funding

The University of Richmond supports summer internships through the Richmond Guarantee. As part of the Guarantee, Spider Internship Funds provide funding for students completing a summer internship that connects with their academic and career goals. The Civic Fellowships are for students who would like to pair their internship in the nonprofit sector or government with faculty mentoring. Students interested in an internship abroad can seek funding through the Weinstein Grants. Additionally, several outside organizations, such as the Gilman Scholarship, offer support for students undertaking study abroad or internships abroad.
